I loved making
this piece. The total size
is 16 high by 9 wide. If the fairy
was standing she would be about 7 inches tall. She is dressed
in teal iridescent silk with hand beading. Her crown is
made of the same beads which adorn her outfit. Her wings are
printed on fabric and wired so they can be positioned naturally. Her friend the
Moon is sculpted of Aves Apoxy clay and covered with polymer clay. The sculpt is
held with an acrylic rod into an acrylic
base.
